Today, the tribe lives on a reservation. A reservation is land set aside just for them. It is in East Texas, near the town of Livingston. This part of the state has many tall pine trees. The tribe uses the pine trees to build homes, weave baskets, and make some medicines. These trees are so important to the tribe that they created a team of people to properly care for these pine trees.
